Disciplemakers Intensive

This series of interactive in-person sessions is designed to equip mature ministry leaders to grow a new generation of disciples of Jesus Christ.

Vision

To inspire and equip men and women to become lifelong generational disciplemakers who “Know Christ, make him known, and help others do the same.”

Our prayer is that, upon completing this Intensive, participants emerge with a lifelong passion for Life-to-Life Disciplemaking, committed to regularly investing in the lives of others each year. We desire to see this spark momentum across the NYC metro area, spiritually multiplying the gospel among every nation, tribe, people, and language (Revelation 7:9).

Target Audience

Ministry leaders who are passionate about growing as disciples of Jesus and are others-focused, desiring to reach generations and nations through spiritual multiplication. These leaders have displayed a track record of faithfulness in their lives.

Course Support

  • Participants will:

    • Grow as mature disciples of Jesus with the heart, vision, and skill to live as lifetime, generational disciplemakers.

    • Be equipped to share their lives and the Gospel through Life-to-Life Disciplemaking.

    • Be encouraged to connect with like-minded disciples in a learning community.

    • Be encouraged to live and minister “out of the overflow” of their walk with God.

    • Learn transferable discipleship tools that can be easily shared with others.

    • Be equipped with skills to gain confidence and competence in evangelism.

  • Complete the 9-month program (September 2025 - May 2026).

    • Monthly Commitment: 8- 10 hours

      • 3- 4 hours: Assignments

      • 3 hours: Monthly Saturday large group training (virtual or in person)

      • 1- 1.5 hours: One-on-one discipleship with a DMI mentor (virtual or in person)

      • 1 hour: Small group meeting (virtual) for encouragement, accountability, and community

    • Attend Large Group Training

      • Attend all monthly Saturday sessions.. You are allowed to miss up to 2 if absolutely necessary.

      • Six in-person trainings in Greenwich Village and three by Zoom (all dates below)

      • The May session includes a celebration lunch

    • Additional Commitments

      • Daily personal devotional time

      • Memorize 14 Bible verses

      • Disciple one person during the 9-month course

      • Active and regular involvement in the life of a local body of believers

    February 28 (in-person) 9:30 AM - 12:30 PM

    March 20-21 Overnight Discipleship Retreat (highly recommended)

    March 28 (virtual) 9:30 AM - 12:00 PM

    April 18 (in-person) 9:30 AM - 12:30 PM

    May 16 (in-person) 9:30 AM - 12:30 PM

    May 16 Celebration Lunch 12:30 PM - 2:30 PM
