K-12 Students Are Memorizing Scripture and Meeting Jesus
For more than 23 years, Ernie and Judy Scalabrin have faithfully served students through Public School Bible Clubs in New Jersey. Their ministry continues to bear fruit: during the 2025–26 school year, 91 students put their trust in Jesus Christ as Savior, up from 76 the previous year. Praise God!
The students are hungry for God’s Word. They ask thoughtful questions, invite their friends, and eagerly discover how God is at work in the Bible- and how He can work in their own lives.

Scripture Taking Root
One of the most encouraging parts of the ministry is seeing students embrace Scripture memory. Using the Navigators’ Topical Memory System, students repeatedly come to the front of the class to recite the verses they have learned. But they are not simply memorizing words; they are learning what those verses mean and how God’s truth can shape their lives.
One third grader, Marty, was invited to Bible Club by several students after recently transferring to their school. As he watched his classmates confidently recite Scripture, he wanted to try it himself. Today, Marty has become one of the students who has memorized the most verses!
Stories like Marty’s remind us that when children are given the opportunity to encounter God’s Word, they can respond with remarkable hunger and enthusiasm.
Over the past 23 years, hundreds of students have come to Christ through these Bible Clubs. We praise God for every life changed and every seed of His Word planted.
Join Us in Praying and Participating
Please pray for Ernie and Judy as they continue serving students in New Jersey public schools. Pray that God’s Word would take root deeply in the hearts of these children and that many more would come to know and follow Jesus.
Could you be part of this ministry? Whether through volunteering, prayer, or simply helping us connect with others who have a heart for children, there are ways to get involved.
