Alfreda Lewis

For the past three years, I’ve served with The Navigators Workplace Team at the New York City Housing Authority, helping create spaces where employees and community members can grow spiritually. I facilitate weekly Scripture gatherings at the Johnson Houses, lead the JSU Book Club at NYCHA’s 90 Church Street headquarters, mentor participants in the Disciplemakers Intensive, and support the NYCHA Association of Christian Fellowship through teaching, facilitation, and administration.

I love walking with people as they grow in their relationship with God and am continually inspired by their hunger for His Word. I’m also grateful to serve alongside teams who show up with compassion, humility, and faithfulness.

I bring strengths in administration, structure, and relational care—helping create welcoming, well-supported environments where people can engage Scripture and grow in community.

What excites me most is seeing lives transformed by God’s Word right where people live and work.

A fun fact: I absolutely love social gatherings—good food, good conversation, and people to encourage always fill my cup.
